TQH is so grateful for all of the support we have received over the past few months. Between your overwhelming generosity during our April Fast Friends fundraiser and grants from the Tegan and Sara Foundation and the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, we find ourselves in an excellent place to do internal work on our organization, in order to ensure the longevity of Telling Queer History. We will be taking the next few months to reflect and build the appropriate infrastructure to continue bringing our storytelling events and other programming to all of you.
As you may be aware, our Executive Director, Rebecca Lawrence, sustained a concussion a couple of months ago and has been on medical leave since the fundraiser. During their recovery, our external communications have been, and will continue to be, reduced but know that we are still here!
We will not be holding a June event this year so we can devote our time to internal development. Please stay tuned for more from TQH over the summer and beyond! We will resume our regular programming in October 2021, with our annual partnership with the Tretter Collection at the University of Minnesota.

We will keep you posted about Telling Queer History and we appreciate you! Happy Pride!
