Most recently Quinn joined KFAI Radio as a Co-Host for FRESH FRUIT with RARE Productions: FRESH FRUIT Celebrates 36 years on KFAI. Quinn co-hosts alongside Roxanne Anderson every 2nd Thursday each month; the focus of this program is Queer Artists of Color: Dancers, Singers, Spoken Artists & more. Quinn has interviewed several local talent right here in the Twin Cities area.

Also just recently Quinn was apart of KFAI Radio’s International Women’s Day Committee; which focuses on celebrating Women. https://kfai.org/personality/the-fresh-fruit-collective/quinn-villagomez/

Join us for Brunch!
The LGBTQ+ community invented brunch, a time to rehash what happened the night before, enjoy some refreshments, and see each other in the light of day.

Join Telling Queer History on Saturday June 1st in this time honored tradition of brunch to learn some LGBTQ+ history through the art of drag performances! We invite you, our guests, to also arrive dressed as boldly as you dare and embody an LGBTQ+ icon that you admire. Your name tag will leave a space for your name, pronouns, and the icon you dress as (if you choose to partake).

There will be a live auction of fabulous items so come ready to shop babies. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be served catering to a variety of dietary needs (we see you vegans, gluten free, nut free friends).

Bring dollars for the performers and for the nourishing work of Telling Queer History which connects LGBTQ+ people across generations and identities through storytelling to foster compassion, empathy and healing, since June 2013.

Oh yes, there will be time to meet other attendees, dance, look shyly from across the room, and a sensory friendly quiet space. As always, this event will be ASL interpreted and substance free (except caffeine, that is a must for brunch). This event is open to all ages and folks will be taking off clothes and loving on their beautiful queer bodies (you decide if that’s right for your kiddos).
