FEATURED STORYTELLERS
Rev. Dr. Rebecca Voelkel is a 17th generation pastor and was ordained in 1997 and served as pastor at Spirit of the Lakes UCC in Minneapolis, the first predominantly LGBTQ congregation in a mainline denomination. Recently, she served as the Director of the Institute for Welcoming Resources and Faith Work for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and then as the Interim Executive Director of the PFund Foundation. 

Rev. Meg Riley
Rev. Meg A. Riley is Senior Minister of the Church of the Larger Fellowship, a 3500 member Church Without Walls. She has worked in the intersection of religion and culture in a variety of contexts. 

Rev. Anita Hill
Hill made national headlines in 2001 when she was called and ordained by the congregation in defiance of previous ELCA regulations. She is one of a handful of openly gay and lesbian pastors who served congregations within the ELCA prior to change in the denomination's policies in 2009.

THEME 
Rev. Dr. Voelkel, Rev. Anita Hill and Rev. Meg Riley will share personal stories and give historical context. Conversation between
these leading Faith Leaders about Spirituality, Social Justice and Sexuality.

EVENT FORMAT
2:00–2:30pm – Snacks and mingling, contribute to the story quote page or timeline
2:30-3:15pm – Welcome and meet featured storyteller
3:15-4:00pm – Small groups discuss theme and share your own stories. 
4:00-4:15pm – Come back together as a big group and share insights and highlights from small group discussions.
